Just a suitable option for a little getaway in Preston with incredible value for money. The in-house Halloween party was fun and well organized. Note that there's no lift, so be prepared for a few stairs.

Themed event nights, in-house leisure facilities, strong local ties and historical decor
Room cleanliness could really use more attention, especially the bathrooms!!! Noise from external traffic is quite disruptive, particularly for rooms facing the M6!!! The gym facilities are lacking minimal equipment, leaving fitness enthusiasts disappointed!!!

I found it convenient for a stopover. The restaurant offered homemade food sourced locally, which I enjoyed. One evening, I was delighted by the warmth of the decor and the welcoming atmosphere. I took time in my room to unwind in the bathrobe and enjoyed having access to free WiFi. It was nice to explore the nearby park. Although my stay was under difficult personal circumstances, I appreciated the comfort offered during this reflective time.
The service was inconsistent at breakfast. On one morning, staff were slow to assist, and that made things awkward. I also noticed some cleanliness issues that should be addressed. these aspects affected my experience a bit.
